The weather in San Diego is just about the best in the world, but I don't really miss it that much. I've got heated gloves and decent gear, and that gets me about 9 months on the bike per year. I can get by on that. I've actually been riding more miles in NH. In CA I consistently did 10-12K, averaging 11K per year; in NH it's been more variable -- 8-18K, but averaging 13K per year so far.

Yup, San Diego weather is awesome, never got to ride there though, was in between bikes back then. And I miss good Mexican food that could be found there.
