    Ha who are you kidding, this would be fun in a Civic or any other small compact 4 cylinder car. If this can touch 30mpg, and make over 100hp more than an inline 4, why not start using them in economy cars? I'm sure it could be detuned to around 200hp for better economy if needed.

    You can't make that much horsepower and get 30mpg. A normal hayabusa engine makes somewhere between 175-185HP at the crank and only manages low 30MPG figures in a 500lbs frame during casual riding. Double the engine size and at the very least, quadruple the weight of the vehicle and your MPG numbers will go way down.

    To make horsepower, you have to burn fuel!
