There's a new (to me) bike in the garage. Dan just dropped off his SV and it begins life away from its old Boston-area home.

Hopefully, I'll be able to get it to the track often this year.

And Dan, I did manage to save the Toriano sticker from the windscreen, as you requested.

Just some small updates:

• Installed "new" subframe (a couple of weeks ago)
• Installed NEW seat (a couple of weeks ago)
• Did the R6 Throttle mod (super-easy)
• Mounted a set of Woodcraft frame sliders (didn't tighten the top pieces, since I'll need to remove to cut holes in the new plastics)
• Pulled a sizable dent out of the gas tank with (don't laugh) The Ding King. It actually worked. I was surprised.

Plastics are in, I just need to pick them up and the GPTech fairing stay I ordered is on its way. I've been thinking about painting the bike a solid deep emerald green, but need to find someone who can do it for under $500, as I'm running out of $$$ to build this thing.

I ordered a 05 R6 throttle tube. Well at least that's what street and comp said I needed. I'm still confused as to what the benefit is. I understand that it makes it a 1/4 turn instead of a 1/5th turn is that correct?
