97 Buell S1 Lightning. What's it worth?

About 20k on the clock. My friend has one and he's thinking about getting rid of it. Any idea what they're worth?

I paid $2000 for this last week on craigslist. 99 Lightning with 15k.

The s1's are definitely more valuable/collectible/blahblah than the x1's, fwiw.
2-3k depending on how wild the thing is, IMO.

I know, I already tried my 09 cbr600 fender, not close enough. I'll have to grab one off ebay.
