    Adjustable rearset question

I'm old with cranky knees. I have 2000 GSXR 750 that I find painful to ride at the track.

Are adjustable rearsets just for more aggressive positions or could they help me out with a bit easier position? If so, any suggestions on mfgs?

    Thanks

Generally they raise the pegs up and back for more ground clearance. Which sounds like the opposite of what you're looking for.

I have the Vortex on my CBR. In my case they go back and and are slightly lower. I feel like my knees are much less in my armpits, so they are more comfortable for me. However, I don't think the knee bend angle feels significantly different.

I don't see how that would help since his knees are already bothering him.

You definitely don't want to lower the pegs below stock height... you're better off raising your butt through a race tail section and/or additional foam.

So how old are you and why exactly do your knees hurt?
I have Chondromalacia myself and have learned to manage it well with exercises and nutritional supplements.

I'm 48. It is oestoarthritis. I'm trying to lose weight but it gets harder when pain takes away a bunch of favored excercise options.

I switched to my old F3 at my last track day and the less aggressive pegs was fine.

With the Gsxr, i could only manage one lap at NJMP before needing to pit out.
I came in once and Tony thought I was being reprimanded....lol. He gave me one of those, "yea, no one thinks it was them looks....."
