I use these cam buckle style jobbies with the integrated soft loops and spring loaded gates on the hooks on the front of the bike. I use these on the lift in the shop too.
Two straps from anything solid on the rear subframe back. Any straps will do here, I have some cheapie cam buckles from harbor freight. Sinch the straps with your weight on the bike. Rock solid. On the dirtys I usually hook to the joint where the subframe meets the main frame. On street and track bikes from the passenger pegs or grab handles.
Tighten down a few blocks down the road or at the first gas stop.
Never used canyon dancer straps. They look nice.
