I'm planning on doing a ride up there soon as well, but beware of the frost heaves. They sucked last summer, so I'm sure they are that much worse after this winter.

Cracks in the roadbed caused by the expanding and contracting of water in the soil as it freezes and melts during the winter and spring frost.

Or, that nauseous feeling you get while reading "The Road Less Travelled".

that's a good idea cause then we can hang out. Ask Highsider if you can "pitch a tent" in his yard HE loves when guys pitch tents - especially gay guys

Camp Meade is AWESOME and VERY VERY bike friendly. Right outside of Waterbury center too so it's a good place to be. Can ride your bike right to the front door of your cabin.

oh. I forgot to add....Kanc is terrible on the weekends with tourists and sight seers - gets very overrated. If you do ride through NH and are up in the Lincoln/woodstock area (near Loon Mtn) check out the west side of the Kanc (road less traveled) - it's Route 112 from Woodstock to 302 westbound. Right along a river and they re-paved a lot of it last summer. The heaves are AWFUL right now so this really only applies if it's gonna be later in the spring or summertime. The more North in NH you go - the better the roads and for VT - central/North Central is the best.

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

But when we ride very fast motorcycles, we ride with immaculate sanity. We might abuse a substance here and there, but only when it's right. The final measure of any rider's skill is the inverse ratio of his preferred Traveling Speed to the number of bad scars on his body. It is that simple: If you ride fast and crash, you are a bad rider. If you go slow and crash, you are a bad rider. And if you are a bad rider, you should not ride motorcycles.

    Diddo Camp Meade and the

    North Kingdom

    Frost heave wheelies are fun

I will do 2 or 3 VT obnoxious passing speed freak weekends but don't come or you will be hated too.

It am cold up in VT now recommend going south and west for the next 2 months

Catskills Poconos then into western PA and maybe West Virginia

Tourist are only moving traffic cones just pass them anywhere.

But you are in Vermont where it is legal to pass on a double yellow line so long as you have the room (which is basically everywhere with a motorcycle!)!!

Those camp meade trips are still fresh in my memory Those after diner loops on 100A were always a killer time as well... ahh yes the memories, the campfires and heavy drinking, richw making an ass out of himself in front of the campfire after making an ass out of himself while riding all day....

Maybe a NESR Camp Meade trip should be planned sometime this year? All LRRS weekends and holiday weekends would have to be excluded of course
