Aged anti freeze???

Gotta quick coolant question.....Does coolant ( 50/50 mix) get a thicker consistency and a brighter color With age? ( inside a motor, not in a bottle)
Did a flush yesturday and noticed the coolant i put in, which should be the same exact mix and brand, Was a thinner consistency and had a darker green tint to it. Just curious?.. At first my bike ran real hot real quick after I bled the air from the system. But it seems to be back to its normal ranges again. The coolant I took out was 2 years old. Any thoughts wisdom. Thanks

Coolant does turn a lighter green color and sometimes even brownish when it has aged. As far as being a thicker consistency, I've never noticed that before. I take it this is in a street bike and not a race bike f you're using antifreeze...
