well? thought you might want to know i worked on it all day. reset timing according to manual by counting teeth and all that. didn't have compression gauge to test so put it all back together and sounds fine when not riding. still have similiar symptum when under load. it hesitate under acceleration but ridable.

there is only one way to install the tensioner. i don't know what the fuck happened.

i think gonna be looking for a new engine.

You might want to check your fuel pump, i had a similar issue with my busa not making power from 7k-10k rpm, thought the clutch was slipping at first, but read on hayabusa.org about it being a fuel pump problem. I scored one off ebay for $35 and the bike rips again.
