This past week I've been able to FINALLY get in some saddle time. Admittedly, the last coupla years have been pathetic for me as far as mileage goes...
But with this past weekend and last night, things seem to be clearing up in my mind. Talk about therapy! It seems that once that bad boy fires up, I get this weird feel of relief. Never mind how my attitude changes once I start flipping through the gears. A little ride seems to go a long way lately for my general outlook on life...
Man! I feel great today!

Theraputic motorcyle riding. I have been taking mine to work whenever possible. It is a great feeling going out at lunch time for a little peg scraping! Woohoo. Talk about stress relief!!!!![]()

been way busier than I oughta this summer, so I haven't logged many recreational miles. but I commute on 2 wheels whenever I can, and have a couple of little mini-runs I can do around here at lunch / on the way home. prolly kept me from killing someone this year, more than once...
yep, cycletherapy works for me![]()

bemused, the ol lady and I would like to visit Salem on the bikes.
Up for being a tour guide sometime? A little riding, hit a pool hall, do dinner sort of thing?

absolutely! works for me. next 3 weekends are out, but gimme a holler anytime after that. I'm still learning the area, but know of a few roads around here that guarantee grins.

I'd be a happy camper if I could RIDE my 500 miles of commuting each week! With the little one, I lead a very structured schedule during the week. I REALLY only have the opportunity to ride in once a week. And I leave fairly early in the morning, and live in the Lakes Region. It gets foggy as hell for the first half of my commute when I take the bike (I'll take the backroads), and it damn near blinds ya. I've managed to bring it in a few times this year, but not nearly as much as I used to/would like to...
Just gotta be patient, I guess. Coupla more years, tops...![]()

stonner, i'm not sure i understand why you can't ride in... do you have to take the rugrats to day-care or some such on the way in? or is it that there's not enough time to deal w/ kiddies and get to work on time w/out crapppyass slabbing?
lucky me gets 70.5 miles every day with zero slab. well, maybe a couple miles. does Rt. 9 in westborough count? not technically interstate, but it *is* fast & straight.

The only "intuitive" interface is the nipple.
Yip. Three days a week, I bring the little one down to Manch with me. Another day of the week, I HAFTA drive my big truck just to put miles on it. The thing requires more repairs when I let it just sit there, so it's actually cheaper for me to run the thing. Plus it's really sweet, so it's not THAT bad. So you see, it only leaves me one day to ride. Usually Thursdays...

Heres a condom. I figured since youre acting like a dick, you should dress like one too.
I am so lucky to have a theraputic job. Since I have finally moved my office out of my house, I hafta commute, about 25 miles each way the route I take, sometimes I hafta deal with commuter traffic, cause I don't have any gas stations when I need gas. Then if I gotta go somewhere from my office I gotta ride my bike more, sure, I get a lotta miles on boring roads, but more nice twisty, curvy, rolling, sweeping rural country roads with relatively little development than anything else. I avoid highways and primary routes unless it's necessary, I sooner ride a gravel road, I've been putting on close to 1k a week lately, I need tires badly, I hope I can stretch another week out of them, my new ones are waiting but I want to have fork work done at the same time, and progressive springs are on back order.
