Great bike but the suspension isn't the most adjustable and the motor isn't nearly as strong as the Yamadog FZ-1

That is one sexy bitch though. Honda nailed it in the styling dept. (except for the "Wing" on the fairings). I wonder if pending emissions rules are coming up on bikes. Alot of mfg. seem to be going with catalyzed systems this year.

I think the 929 RR is possibly the sexiest sportbike ever. I really think they embody the sportbike spirit better than anything else I've seen... Muscular curves (not too pionty), agressive lines, not too beefy, not too spidery... That's a bike I'd love to own some day. And they're practically indestructible, even for a honda, so used ones aren't always beat to shit (the way ninjas and even gixxers often are)

    Thanx Feirax,

I think I have seen everything on the internet that invloves the new RR. I will wait until April and see if the first red/black RR comes in.

If this doesen't happen I have decided to go with the 954RR.

For all of you who are interested a group of us have started a Yahoo group at http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/NERoadJunkies/

Join and keep track of the latest rides we are planning. We're not road warriors or stunters. We just love to ride. Typical day rides are ~250 to ~350 miles. Good group of people and lots of fun.

Ah well, I guess I lost my $20 to Gary as the RR ONLY came in 1st and third at Daytona, and Miguel proved how much power it has as he came from 7th or something to 4th with 50 yards to go.

What happened? Why didn't the Honda bikes spontaneously combust into flames and blow conrods all over the track at the first turn? Well, maybe it's because you shouldn't believe all you read on the internet.

I think I proved my point. The CBR600RR is as solid as a rock and is the bike to beat this year.

Hmmmm what position was the first gixxer in? 10th I believe.

I guess I'm glad I put a deposit on one last november. Now all Honda has to do is deliver the goods.

I think Jamie Hacking is gonna be tough to beat this year. And what's up with the weight dif between the R6 and the Honda? I just watched the race and they said the R6 had a 30lb weight advantage over the Honda. Is that true, or is that just Jason DiSalvo?

Put the $20 in the kitty.

    peace

No, the R6 really does have about 30lb on the Honda. Even though the Honda won, the R6's were faster out of the tight stuff so I think that you are spot on saying that Hacking will be VERY hard to beat this year. Don't discount Gobert either as he was riding with an injured hand today.

Miguel did it again. The draft is what you need at Daytona. They say that you can draft from 60 yards behind someone at 180mph.
