Be warned that they are cracking down on straight pipe exhaust in the city limits of Providence. There are signs that say no straight pipes aloud.

Did some posing last night night and they have cops walking up and down thayer st checking paperwork etc...i do not think they are ticking yet but probably soon

There was:

my z1000 - hindle stealth full Ti(quiet at idle but screams at high rpm), expired insp. sticker, questionable plate mount...but it is horizontal

busa - slip ons and a vertical plate

meanstreak - vertical plate, moderately loud pipes...not obnoxious

3 dual sports - all with loud exh's

I parked in a different place and the cops didnt look twice at my bike...they walked by it like 5 times too...but as soon as the other guys pulled up a beat cop walk over towards them and a bicycle cop as well...asked the busa about the plate but let him go because Mass. tags...but they sat their with the dual sport guys for awhile checking everything out...1 guy didnt have an inspection sticker...they gave him a 5 day "reminder" to get one...

they were up and down the road checking bikes....honestly I really cannot blame them. The people with the straight pipe harleys up there are jsut retarded...always rev'ing the piss out of their shit boxes and racing all around the residential neighborhoods and being very disrepectful to the people that live there....

I am pretty sure these noise ordinances are for the H-D guys...they seem to be the majority of the idiots causeing the problems...some sportbikers too but only when they do the uber-cool revlimiter bounce..

I was down there for the first time in a long time Sunday night and there were cops everywhere! They were busting all the meatheads that were bouncing of the rev limiter!

I never quite understood why people felt the need to rev the piss out of there bikes just because they saw other bikers around?

well it is kinda loud. Not straight pipe loud, but louder than stock. Ill still go a few times either way
