Do they help? Seem to be aimed a bit low, by the glare off the fender.

Seems like a worthwhile addition...if you're into night riding. Too many deer around here for me. Took me weeks to get all the hair out of my accord's fender. Stupid deer. Every other animal knows to run *away* from animals bigger than itself.

I have been looking into getting a pair of those (PIAA Solitare's?) for the car. How good are they at only 35 watts? They have the blue and yellow options and I was debating that issue too.

I havent been out when it's really dark yet but they do seem like they are good. Been ou at dusk and they are pretty bright. Looking at them they seen to be as bright as the headlight, which is good for the visibility aspect too. From what I have seen so far they do throw a good amount of light. The guy that helped me install them is going to get a pair because of how they look and so is his boss so they can't be all that bad. I always like REAL bright though so I do wish that they were even brighter but for $63 you can't beat the price. If they cost much more then I wouldn't have bought them so they are better than nothing. I likes. (gotta love Ebay too)
