AXO Gear - Do you use it?

I had an axo helmet and a pair of axo boots (both dirt). It was lower end stuff but not terrible. I used them for maybe a year and a half but have since moved on. The boots were like $125 new. I think i got them on closeout for like $60. I picked up the helmet on closeout too, pretty damn cheap. I only tossed the helmet after after sustaining damage from a gnarly crash. The boots were decent (for entry level) but the buckles were kind of cheap and one eventually broke. It seemed no one on the east coast carried AXO and the replacement buckle was a pain to get so I upgraded to my current Alpinstars. My suggestion if your looking for dirt boots, see if you can find a higher end pair of sidi's or alpinestars used. Even if you have to get the soles replaced they'll be more comfortable and you'll get more life out of them than a cheap pair of boots bought new.

couple of the ladies on born have them as their boots (my woman has them) as axo makes small mens boots as apparently its a bitch to find them in ladoes sizes.
i would compare them to the A* smx5: a good entry level boot.

I bought a pair of there track boots for myself this year after ordering a set for a customer. I also ordered a few other pairs for other customers & all have loved them. I wore all year & will tell you they are the most comfortable boots ( feel like my 2 year old boots) right out of the box & provide great protection. I have crashed in them a few times this year & they held up very well. I have 5 pairs of boots that cost much more & took forever to break in. These are the best boots I have had. They are also very easy to get in & out of when rushing to get on track since there are no zippers. I only have good things to say about them. You will be very happy with the qualitiy & the price $350 retail. The other gear I can not speak for since I have not used anything else or ordered anything other then boots from AXO. There other gear looks very average to me. If you do decide to go with any of there stuff let me know, I can get you a great deal on whatever you need. Boots $285
