Sunday morning 9:30 AM somewhere in Franklin, MA.. I am standing in the driveway of the seller's house screwing the plate onto my 1999 Bandit 600s.. I have been out of riding for a little over a year since my 1980 CB 750K caught a case of bad Karma... had a great ride home from franklin down 140 and 106.
Hope to hear from other owners of Bandit's, and mods you have made...

Jesus, that only took about a month from purchase to pick-up!!
Congrats on the bike, Steve. Time to start modifying it! You need an exhaust, a jet kit, some lower bars/clip ons, a single seat conversion, a tinted screen, some stickier tires, and some tighter sprockets. Get going!!

Thanks SS... there are aftermarket tires and a D&D exhaust already, which contrary to previous discussions is pretty frikin loud.. There is not much love in cold starts, I think a carb sync or jet kit is in the future... I really want to get rid of the stupid rear fender.. that's first!

OMG- sweet lookin'... and the Bandit's a great blank canvas to start from; there's so many out there that there's a buncha aftermarket & forums to give you more ideas than you could imagine...

Thanks B...
Also, this bike had a NH Title before the guy I got it from.. does anyone happen to know it.. he said he got it from a dealership up there?
It looks like the first owner changed the tires and pipe (the guy I got it from only rode it like 500 miles then bought a 'umph adventurer)..

Why are panties being bunched? All I'm saying is, there are more than a few Bandit 600s around; they're not very rare. The "one" from NH isn't very descriptive.

Sorry SS... thought when I said 'the RED ONE' that would do the trick... don't you know every bike from here to the Canadian boarder? ;-)

For some reason, I really like the new bandits. I'd say its fine just the way it is...no mods necessary. Ride it and have fun!Hope to hear from other owners of Bandit's, and mods you have made...
