It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

RIP A.B. RIP BEET, I Ride in Leathers because I would rather sweat than Bleed...
BECAUSE... the stock bar ends are NOT designed to grind down like a frame slider. The stock ones are more likely to catch something during a spill, bouncing the front of the bike a little harder into the pavement more than one time where as the after market ones will easily shredd away. ANAlogy: trying to grind a metal rod against pavement without it jumping off the pavement in comparison to grinding a reinforced crayon across the pavement....WhICH one Do you think is gonna have a less violent travel across the pavement>>???Originally posted by Degsy
Yes, you are absolutely correct. You just changed out a set of good, weighted bar ends that reduce vibration and cost $12 each to buy from Honda, for a set of cheap plastic bar ends that will buzz like a sonofabitch and cost $20 a set.
Hey, look at the bright side, the $10 bar ends that vibrate will save your $12 bar ends that don't, right?
If anyone can tell me what logical reason you would have for changing your bar ends, please feel free to post here.![]()

That analogy is bullshit ...
I had the honor of dropping my bike twice on the same bar end and both times it ground. The second time it actually pulled out a quarter of an inch and bent.
They are easy to fix and cheap to replace.
Sliders belong on the frame, swingarm and any other IMMOVABLE object on the bike.
Carpal tunnel is a major bitch-slap and I am on the verge of having it. So far it is being managed.
Anything I can do to kill the buzz on the bars will work for me.
Tim, either way, you dropped your bike & are gonna have to replace shit... what's the difference if a shattered plastic you already have to replace has 2 more little tiny scratches on it cuz you have a stock bar end?
STOP FUCKING NIT-PICKING AND RIDE THE FUCKING BIKE!!!
