    Cool Back to the basics!

Well... I just got back from a Tony's Track day up in NHMS and let me tell you. I had a blast. Racing is fun and all but its on a completely different level, its stressful as hell, the ups and downs are tough at times and its EXPENSIVE to boot lol. I wanted to sign up for a two day and have some fun and let me tell you, fun was to be had.

It's been a while since i've done a track day but I'm happy i did this one. Its nice to be able to hang out with the crew and meet new people, ride with friends and just have a good time. Switch bikes here or there for a session or two. KTM showed up and i got to test ride an RC8-R, Owens took a few good pics of me looking fast... but not going fast lol. And the best part for me is the hang out after the track, the BBQ and having a few drinks with people and sharing war stories. Just an awesome overall time that I feel like i've missed out on a bit over the last year. I forget just how much track time you get and i was SPENT by day two... you figure at a race weekend you have about 20-30min of practice in the morning and each race is about 12minutes (I do two a day)... yeah, thats not eight 20 minute sessions per day with Tony lol. Good times with the crew that's for sure and the weather KICKED ASS!!!

Here are a few fun pics:

    Looking pretty for the cam

    Test rode this bad boy...

The front end might have gotten a little light on me...

Hanging out with the crew and just having a good time for a few hours!

And than the fun after... that things a death trap let me tell you!!!

Nice, I miss riding at the level I achieved while racing, but I don't miss the stress one bit. It's nice to have a little money in the bank as well.

The BBQ gathering was a lot of fun. One of the highlights of my racing days was hanging out.
