I'm going to shadow/range aid a couple of classes before my first one memorial day weekend.

I did my first two classes this weekend, I worked with a really good experienced rider coach, so things went very smooth. The 13 hour days were a bit long, but I'm glad I jumped right into it while things were still fresh. I'm going to get a pedometer for next week, I'm curious to see how far I walk over the course of the day on the range. My legs are sore, I don't know if it's from the walking or the cone picking up. I also need to get a helmet thats a bit easier to put on than my full-face arai. Towards the end of the day on Saturday, my ears started feeling raw from the rubbing of putting the helmet on and taking it off so much.

That is a good point. I bought a modular hjc for this purpose. Get done a demo and just flip it up and it comes off like a 3/4 helmet.

Re: Interested in becoming an MSF RiderCoach?

Does anyone know how to go about getting into a ridercoach program in RI? I am thinking maybe next year I would want to teach MSF, I love helping people get into riding and have trained people in lots of other things so I think I could do it but want to do an erc/arc whatever they are calling it nowadays this summer before I apply to do this.
