Toseland languished, Dovisioso had one podium, Hopper will never be heard from again.

Lorenzo did manage to win a race very quickly, but got shattered a few races in. Injury slowed him more than I expected. Next year he will be a regular on the box.

Dovisioso will likely climb up there more next year as well...

After watching Davisioso the other day he has my vote. I was hoping Hayden would take him but that kid fought damn hard and shut the door.

I think that's what happens after Lorenzo gets projectile vomited from his bike during a highside. Three seconds of hang-time = pretty big impact.

Plus next year he's gonna get full "official" Honda support.
If he can stay away from mind games with Pedrosa he should do
    even better this year.

Re: Biggest Impact on MotoGP 2008

I was rooting for Lorenzo this season and will be again. The biggest reason is I want to see him stick it to Pedrosa. I want Pedrosa to be seen as nothing more then the Max Biaggi of this period in MotoGP history.

as much as I don't like pedrosa, you can't argue that he is a VERY talented rider.

No doubt that he is talented, but that talent is overshadowed by his arrogance.

Exactly... he says some things to the media that make me question how he could possibly have the job he does... i mean don't you get coached on how to handle your publicity and such?

Yeah, but look at who his coach is -- Alberto Puig.

    i say d'angelis.
while i would really like Toseland to do well, BSB guys have history of difficulty in GP (ie:walker, bayliss, xaus)
