Well , It's one year from the start of my street riding adventure and I guess it's time to upgrade to something faster and bigger. . . . What bike you guys think I should get ? and also the seat height can't be over 31.9 inches cause anything over that and the bike feels unconfortable .

No, it's just that we don't want to be responsible for a 16 year old running about on a bike that has any usable power

    Just kidding dude, just kidding.

Just wondering about the SV650's , are the new ones (2003) worth the extra money and the wait or just buy last years models ?

The SV is a spectacular begining sport bike. Plenty of power, plenty of torque, decent looks, a great sound(with a pipe). A bike that you can grow into and beyond. Not to mention just tons of fun.

oh i was thinking an R1 or Mille or ZX-12 or RC-51... any would be a GREAT starter bike.

actually i was thinking like a GS500 or older ninja 500.
i prefer the v-twin though or an RF600 would be fantastic, but i already sold mine.

hey i only called it that cause i thought it was a bitch when compared to JC's TLS times last year... well compared to any newer bikes times i saw last year. but tis a solid bike, and not fast enough to kill yourself on.... hence a good starter bike

I think I can handle more than a 500 now , I've only ridden about 2100 miles , but rode my friend's R6 around and loved it. I think I'm going to stick to either a SV650 or a CBR 600 F4i or maybe even a CBR 600 RR if the price comes down and I can get a good deal on it which is highly unlikely . ..

    What? No 'Busa?

    SV650.

Great bike. When(If) you decide on another don't get rid of it just turn it into a track bike. Great track bike!

Be carefull if you buy a used one from RandyO though..although the speedo reads "just 60 miles" and looks and runs like new, it's probably seen 99999.9 a couple two or three times...
