I have a black on 02 model. I love it. The tripple motor is awesome. especially on twistie roads, you just pick a gear that fits the road and roll on and of the gas , no breaking needed.

Hey I recognize that bike too...

Last time it got a good cleaning, it was me who did it.

Congrats, I know that bike well and have one that's almost it's twin. It has a 18T front sprocket and 45 or 46T rear, quite a change from the stock 19/43 setup. Watch out when you twist the throttle hard from a stop, that front end will get light VERY easily.

That gearing is also a cure for the Sprint's notoriously tall 1st & 2nd gears, now beter for gettng around Loudon should you do a track day with it.

Lastly, if you need any parts, ping me. I have a stock exhaust, and a LOT of other bits. (I am parting out an Eclipse Blue 2000 RS.)

Thats what I thought when I saw a picture of it. Its a very un-photogenic bike; looks much better in person. I think its the best looking bike I've ever owned.
