Won't get any from me. As I said previously, I suspect the VFR1200X is very, very close to whatchusayyouwant out of a bike. Your past affinity for the Honda V4's seals the deal.
And I have to say, the machine is damned attractive. It's crossed my mind too. I think I'd be capable of having one in my life without issue.
I think Honda is (finally) barking up the right tree these days.
'Grats and do keep us posted.
Congrats on the new bike. I wish they'd bring the 800x here. I put ~100 miles on a 1200F, the motor is stupid powerful and the brakes are incredible, but it was too sporty for me and ~30mpg on premium kinda killed it for me.
Will you take a minute to share impressions of the f6b? It's on my short list of future want to owns...

The F6b was terrific, comfortable, powerful and easy to handle for a big bike. As you know it's basically a GW sans rear seat, trunk and reverse gear and 100lbs. The GW's characteristics are well known at this point. I would encourage you to test ride one if you're thinking about it. Bettencourt's in W. Bridgewater has both new and used and will certainly let you ride a used model.
I've done many 500 miles days and a SS1000 on the bike and it never felt like a chore. Obviously, with its weight and clearance, it's intended for open paved road but it'll lean with confidence within its limits.
Mechanically, there was a rear brake recall but otherwise it's fluids and tires only, rock solid Honda reliability.
Aesthetically I like the look much better than the full GW, but that's subjective.
On the road it's quiet and efficient. There's no real way to make the 6 cylinder engine sound like a big twin if that's what you're after. At a certain point on the street, many of us opt for stealth over flash and this bike epitomizes that. LEO's rarely give it a second look and don't hear it coming from 1/4 mile away.
I attached a big Givi top box to the accessory rack and it hauled an incredible amount of luggage. I pack too much, but it could easily handle a week's worth of stuff for 2.
I have three screens, the OEM short, OEM tall and a Baggershield that's in between. In the warm weather the OEM tall flows too little air and I prefer the Baggershield. When it cools off the OEM tall is perfect. The stock OEM low screen mimics the Street Glide and doesn't do much for me.
This was my first motorcycle with audio and there's a USB in the left trunk to directly control an ipod. I have to admit I grew to like this a lot, but others will say it diminishes the raw "elemental" part of motorcycling.
I'll say it any chance I get; one weekend on a GL1800 had me wondering wtf happened to me. No way I could ever have expected to dig that machine that much. Honda can engineer the shit out of some stuff. That big GL package is one uv em.
That torque gets to you. Deep down somewhere in your sub kackles. Deep down in places you don't talk about at parties or track days.

The eagle has landed! vFR1200x arrived at the dealer, I'll do some paperwork tomorrow and pick it up Monday afternoon.

NC700X pairs ABS and DCT. So if you want one, you gotta get the other. Sophie's choice.
Linked ABS standard on both models. And spoked rims (19" front) run tubeless tires. Shaft drive that probably lasts forever, unlike certain Germans. 127hp and 93 lb ft torque.

Hey I get like 34 mpg Matt. Haha
Out of curiosity how many miles were on your f6b and what did you get for it?
I rode one last year and fucking fell in love. Coming off my vfr1200. It was nice to just sit back crank some tunes and enjoy the scenery. I'm a averyheight skinny fuck and other than being a little questionable at parking lot speeds it was such a comfy ride.
If i manage to get one I want a later deluxe model, a set of cobra pipes, upgrade the sound system, and ride the balls off of one.
23000 miles on a 2013 f6b deluxe, got kbb value of 10,700, didn't push too hard, 18 year with the same dealer and its long been simple and painless.
I was in today and it's all prepped. I forgot how great it sounds compared to the silence of the f6b. Just enough v4 rumble to remind me there's business gong on down there.
I can't wait for Monday, pics will be posted!
Today's bittersweet, we've all been there. I'm de-farkling the F6b, collecting all the stuff that should go with it and prepping it to be traded tomorrow.
This was a truly great bike, but l loved almost all the bikes I've owned and enjoyed what they did well.
