New Bike still sitting there....I got NOS ?s

I went to the bike store to get dirt bike grips and there she was, sitting in the "used" section, but looking for all the world like NOS: a Y2K Suzuki TL1000s! I sat on her, so much slimmer than my ZX-9, so much more natural, so much more RED. I didn't have the heart to ask about her, but there was a price on her: $5,400. Hummm.. Assuming that I want to/can sell my ZX-9r and get this bike, are there any things that I should be looking for in a NOS bike that has been sitting for four years? ( I know all about what to look for in a TL, that's not really the question). Should I have them put on new tires? Any seals or gaskets that are going to go? Am I just being the ADD kid and swapping another bike out again? SHoud I just stick with the ZX-9? It's making about 140+ HP at the wheel, by best estimates. That's about 40 more than I'm comfortable with at this stage of my riding carear.

    Advice welcome!

2 completly different animals your looking at. Your ZX, in-line 4 thats pretty heavy and bulky. The TL, V-twin,fairly light bike especially in the front end.
I would go for the TL but thats me.
The tires might be ok and I would imagine the seals are ok if they were nerver allowed to really dry out. Of coase if you get the bike make sure they will help you out with those things if it becomes an issue. If it still has the original batterie in there as well you will want that swapped for sure.

By 'NOS', do you mean nitrous? In either event, I'd say go for the TL. But that's just me...

NOS = New Old Stock. I doubt there would be any issues. The problems occurr when used bikes are left sitting without being prepped. If you have any TL specific questions let me know.
