Just got a call from my girl friend who found the bike missing when she got home today. The bike was outside with a cover behind our building in our Condo complex in Lowell, MA

FU*KING ASS*OLES

If anyone sees this bike please call me at 617.470.5510. There's not that many of these around.

This is my dream bike, I just got it this year. I'm so depressed, I don't think I'll get it back.

oh man...I know Will and I were joking with you once about stealing this bike, but damn, I had my R6 stolen last year and I know how bad it feels. I'll keep an eye out for it.

oh dude, i dunno what to say. it's probly stolen for parts but i'll keep an eye out in Lowell area. i'd say Lawrence is high posibility.

where have you been lately?

when i first move to where i am now i was paranoid about theft so i chain it to the wheel of a car. i don't even bother any more since i am comfortable with the area being safe. i think i'll start lockin up again cause you never know.

A bike like that should not be hard to find. its rear so it will stand out like a sore thumb...unless it was a pro.

Thanks everyone . It's really sincking in now, I'm crushed. Still cannot believe it.

Bad thing is I think this was not just someone taking it out for a joy ride, it didn't even had the battery (I was charging it the night before). There were two other bikes at the same spot, my girlfriends's suzuki and our neighbor's kawasaki and were not touched. It was just in/out, I'm guessing just loaded it to a van or something, they knew exactly what they wanted.

Since that picture was taken I put Pilot Powers tires and a Sargent seat.

Kham - thanks for reminding me about the tires. Work's been crazyand weekends been busy too. I had to miss the big ride. Was hoping to put some miles on this weekend.

This fucking sucks.

Sorry to hear of your loss! i hope you had full coverage cause these people knew what they were taking. Everyone here will keep their eye open but it must be parted by know or in someones attic.

Bad thing about all these crack addicts is, they pay for there habit by stealing bikes. We need the police to help us stake a few of our bikes, so call your local PD and ask if you can help with bike theft!

Your new bike will need to be stored in garage, an Aprilia needs to be put out of site with multple locks. Good luck in your search!

Hopefully it'll all get taken care by your insurance company. Keep an eye on ebay for aprilia RSV parts... since the bike isn't that common, there aren't that many parts on ebay available for them. If you suddenly see some guy listing a bunch of Mille parts and is somewhere in the New England area, I think it's a pretty good bet that it's your bike, and it could be a good lead to making an arrest.

That really sucks man. Most likely the bike is in pieces by now unfortunately. Your not going to find these parts on ebay. I'll keep an open ear for anybody selling these part or trying to unload a bike cheap.

Good luck with the insurance company and getting this all resolved quick.

Sucks to hear it. Hate to see this happen to anyone but it hurts more to see such a gorgeous bike get taken. Hope insurance will work for ya.
