Anyone have a one bike trailer I can borrow?

I am in negotiations with a guy about a bike. I would like to pick it up this weekend if it works out. if not next weekend. The used bike market sucks now so who knows what will happen.

Anyway I would love it if someone let me borrow their trailer. Something smaller would be preferred but beggars cannot be choosers. I have a Nissan Frontier Nismo to tow with with a class 3 hitch. I am a safe driver with no mars on my record for 10 years. I have ridden with Duc Dave, Stinger (AKA Kenn), R1, Cheese, tuono mark and met various other people at Kenns house etc. I only state this as I am not a scammer who is going to steal anything. If you want to be awesome and come on the 3 hour ride to Maine I am even OK with that.

If anyone who I have ridden with wants to speak of my character that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

You did just say you owned a pickup, no? I'd let you snag my trailer, but it's probably too far for ya. But if you want it, pm me. Fairhaven mass.

Where you at? I have a large-ish trailer you could use. It's a 7x12' landscape jobby, but it's got drop-down ramp sides and a shiteload of eye bolts for tie-down points. With one streetbike on it, you'd have no problems pulling it with your Frontier - I used to pull it with my Murano (read: CVT) with TWO ATV's. It's got a 2" coupler...

It pulls straight, piece of cake loading the bike, no ramps needed, plenty of tie-down spots, ready to go. Jump on route 11 up here, you're in Maine in no time. Typical 'you break, you pay' verbal waiver...

Thanks Chipper... yes I own a pickup. I am in Salem NH. I am obviously willing to travel for a trailer but you are about 100 miles away. A bit far.

I'm guessing a streetbike's gonna have a helluva time fitting into a Frontier...

you sound like my Fiance... One day leaving Home depot i could not find my truck in the lot. Only to find it "hidden" behind an F-350. i have never heard the end of it and my "baby" truck. I keep reminding her to get used to small things.

I only say that 'cuz even though I have a full-size pick-up, it's got 4 doors and an EXTRA short bed. My TLR barely fit in it, tailgate down...

Not to be a dick, but why get a pickup if it doesn't fit anything in the bed?

Edit: I'm looking at Tacomas, I guess I don't have enough friends to care if anyone can fit in the cab

I can fit plenty in my bed: four wheeler, 1/2 cord of firewood (unsplit)...

Will do. Do you have a trailer or you thinking of tossing it in the bed? You have ramps for the truck? Nothing is a definite. i have to negotiate and have these guys get back to me. You would think that since they are selling something they would want to sell it.

I have both. My landscape trailer is to big for just one bike but it will work. My truck has an 8' bed (that never has to be made, if it werent for trucks we wouldnt have tailgates, I met all my wives in traffic jams, theres something women like about a pick-up man.....sorry that song jumped in my head) and I have 4 ramps I put together to make a huge platform for loading and unloading.

Re: Anyone have a one bike trailer I can borrow?

How is it a Frontier doesn't fit a street bike in the bed yet my shortbed Ranger doesn't have an issue. Is there something I'm missing?

Also, depending how far into Maine, I can do the drive for or with you but Friday is the earliest I can do. Enclosed trailer if you prefer or I'll just truck it. Sorry but no one borrows my trailer.

Coming from the Nashua area, FWIW.

I thought this thread was about an available trailer not about who bought what truck with what bed that can carry the most shiat

I have no ramps, I cannot list 400+ lbs, I figured my bed would be somewhat short. I thought a trailer would be easier.

It would not be NESR unless we went off topic or bashed someone. But I cannot get away from this place.
