    Meatball meaning big lug

    R7 - Mi dispache molto, non voglio dire niente 'racist'. Allora, sto mezzo Sicilian (mi nono ha venuto di Sicila e mi nona ha nato in Stati Uniti ma e Siciliana) e mi regazza e cento percento Siciliano, la sua famiglia venuto a Stati Uniti nel 1970's. Ancora mi dispiache, solo ho detto come un bartzo, perche lui era grande e grasso, non so si lui era Italiano.

    R7 - I am very sorry, I didn't want to sound racist. I am half Sicilian, my grandfather came from Sicily, (my grandmother was born here but she's Sicilian also) my girl is 100% sicilian, her family came here in the 1970's. Still I am sorry, I only said it jokingly because he was a big fat dude, I don't know if he was Italian or not.

    ancosta = anCOSTA

    If that doesn't cut it for an "I'm not anit-Italian" come over we can have some of my homemade wine and watch RAI, I've got a couple of good shows I Tivo

    Oh and while I am rambling I will say that I love a good joke, even a somewhat off color one, but I think racism is one of the biggest signs of ignorance in the civilized world.

    Am I back in the good graces of NESR or what

    So, this thread is way off from the original, but I'll interject that I just wrote the bike home.

    On a side note... I am almost a smooth 50/50 mix of italian and portugese... only been to italy once and would love to learn to speak it... language just isn't my thing as I am sure I've already misspelled 5 words in this one post!

    Glad you got the bike home OK. If you speak Portugese or Spanish then Italian is a farily easy transtion. Somewhat more on topic, if you can understand the racer interviews at the end of MotoGP in the native language of the racer, it's much better as they really truncate much of the rider's statements when they put it in English.
