Anyone going to bike week at Daytona Beach this year?

Just wondering if its really worth the trip and expenses.

Ill plan on driving down there with the bike, Ive done 5-6 hour rides at a time before and it doesnt bother me at all.

What would bother me is going down there and it being no different than laconia

I'd go down there just to watch the SX live again.
As for the bikeweek activity, just picture Laconia about 10X more people and spread out over 20X the area, Waaaaaay better ratio of boobies that actually look good, Real sportbike vendors, real roadracing, etc.

No way! I may have missread his post, sounded like he wanted to ride his down there, just saying I wouldn't want to.
Most I've ridden on 1 day was 520 miles on a 1998 R1, never again

might be going down to race.... planning on at least going down for a few days to watch and hang out if the racing doesn't work out

Me and my friend have always wanted to go down there, laconia is a great time just not this past year when it was raining almost everyday. Thoes events are good if u wanna shoot the shit and walk around so i know most ppl on this fourm who are regulars would love that. But anyways a lota people rent trailers or trailer spots , pay a couple hundred bucks to get your bike down there and back, but its gets expencive qucik cuz u would fly down and stuff. Put it in your truck or ride her. Maybe next year will be down, what month is it again
