    another biker lost

    im sure a few of you were involved in the traffic jam last week as a result of a motorcycle accident on th General Sullivan Bridge in Portsmouth. I dont know all the ACTUAL details of the accident or whos fault it was so if someone does than please post up. but i heard from people at work today that he didnt survive his injuries...very sad.

    I live in Portsmouth. I haven't heard anything about that...but I do know some kid was killed last week on 1a in Hampton not too far from here.

    yeah, the GSB was shut down for like an hour and traffic was backed up to the rochester tollls

    I didn't hear about that one and I'm not too far down the road. I wonder what happened. There is no room to go fast around there.

    from what i gather (im not sure how acurate this is) a guy on a bike (not sure what kind) was following a little too close to the car in front and then the car had to stop short, i guess then the biker got on the brakes hard and tried to swerve around to avoid rearending the car in the *breakdown* lane but the car did the same and pinned him against gaurdrail
    i heard he had some head trauma so i am assuming no helmet, but again this is all hearsay on what happened. but im sure it was a bike related accident

    I got caught in the traffic on my way to work. But strangely enough, I haven't heard a thing in the news or in the paper. Our local paper usually has everything in it

    At any rate, hoping the rider is ok.
