Bikers in London...

ok, so I am in Sweden and London for x-mas and new years. a few items of note.

1. I saw the Ohlins factory just out of Stockholm

2. In London, people are hardcore. they are *still* riding. It's like 25-32 degress, rain, etc...and I have see more bikes on any given day than I do on a given day during the *summer* back home. I'm impressed.

3. there is a yammi dealer just down the street from where i am staying in London. I got to see the new new lmtd ed R1 and R6 today ...Mark...you got yours yet? they look SWEET in person.

No new R6 for me yet I've been following things on the R6 board and it seems the latest info is dealers won't be getting the Limited R6 until March now, I still have to call the dealer I'm getting mine from and see what's up though. I'll bet they do look sweet in person... I can't wait

Bah...it rains too much over there to enjoyably ride a motorcycle. Plus people smoke too much and are very short

Just saw on the R6 board someone has their 06 allready, they gotta be close to coming to the states

looks to convert to about 8 or 9 dollars a gallon. these people are insane. they ride *all the time*. the weather has been REALLY bad here for a bit (rain, cold, wind) and there are just so many bikes on the road. all sport-cruisers and dual-sports.

I was in the Wales country side yesterday...the roads were AMAZING. hundreds of miles of nothing but Roller-Coaster-Road type twisties. and wait till you see the pics of the off-road riding in Black Mountain National Park (mind you, everyone was on Yammi's, as they should be). I'll post them after i get back on 1/7...
