Some parts are getting pricey. Rims being the most noticeable. Straight swingarms, disk front end, internal wiring handlebars, and vintage aftermarket parts all fetch good money. They are of a vintage now where people are actively restoring them so original parts are becoming sought after.

That's why the prices are creeping. Everyone just tossed sporty parts in the trash but treasured flh and shovelhead stuff so there isn't much original parts left. Repro companies are starting to pick up the slack but only on a few things. I see guys selling complete engines for over a grand now.

    The $650 one sold.
Yeah I figured if the big Harleys of that era got too out of hand price wise, people would look at Ironheads. Rising tide raises all boats etc.

Maybe this will be the year I add a garbage ironhead to my garage

Let's get this thing a good home. I been talking to the seller about it, good guy. I just don't have the space for it for it until i unload the nsr and hawk and the old but newer gsxr. Two sheds and a 2 car garage are just stuffed.

The early 60s ones are starting to skyrocket. It's only a matter of time before the 70s ironhead jump in price. I think the only reason they haven't is because of the AMF stigmata. I got to say mine is really reliable. It's never left me stranded. It does take more upkeep though but generally beginning of year stuff will last until the next year.

They seem to be finally being appreciated. I mean that one on BaT was wrecked and restored but yeah the miles are low
