its a damn shame they filled in part of the buyer info for the duracell. For $1200 i would be tempted to buy if the title was good.

That's just the Q1 form from the DMV. It functions like a bill of sale and can be used when the title itself is filled out. IE, original seller A sells the bike to party B. Party B signs the title, but never registers the bike. B can fill out the Q1 form and have buyer C sign it as well for the full paper trail.

I think mass adds a bit of complexity to the process. They will make you get it notorized at a minimum and then generally a bit more. They may even require a new title from the seller. You never really know what it will take to clear up a simple mistake. It's usually a painful process.

Screenshots, mobile no less, with no links or pointers, of bikes where the closest is *squints, leans in* Wisconsin? I don't think you get the point of the thread.

Yes, screen shots that give you all the info, a picture, the price and location right here in the thread…. Rather than a link you have to click and bring you to another window…. Sounds awfully convenient….. guess it’s all how you look at it huh?
Re: The Best bikes on Craigslist
This thread started out as being sarcastic, so the point was lost a long time ago.
Re: The Best bikes on Craigslist
i thought my Kayak side car KLR link was true to the spirit of the thread lol
Re: The Best bikes on Craigslist
the rule of thumb is a thread isn't done until hitler and nazis are mentioned. sorry I think I just ruined the thread.

I'm with Kurlon, the link is convenient to go see the actual ad/photos/etc, without a link I have to go find it myself which is inconvenient.
And maybe we'll get back to the sarcasm some day, fingers crossed
Re: The Best bikes on Craigslist
I think Gixxer’s tag ins are great .
Tap the photo twice and it’s as big as my phone screen .
I am always looking at this thread for unique and interesting bikes to buy.
Keep up the good work .
Re: The Best bikes on Craigslist
Ive bought several bikes due to this thread. Its a bad influence on me and i hope to spread it to others.
Re: The Best bikes on Craigslist
I assumed this thread was still sarcastic with all the Harley shovelhead trash being tossed around all willy-nilly.

Was convinced to join the RC51 ride on the ol' GS550 and was pleasantly surprised when I was not the slowest or even next to the slowest bike on the ride. The flexible chassis gets entertaining at "slightly less than legal" road speeds.

Where are all the cheap BMW R series bikes?
C'mon folks. Less purple gixxers and garbage AMF harleys, more bikes people want. And when I say people, I mean just me.
