You don't have to tell me it was a nice bike, my first bike was a 93 900rr with a polished frame, dodge viper red paint, no decals, piped and geared, I love it. But 6.7k for a 93 with 38k miles?

If he keeps it anther 5 years he might get that. Right now, its worth about $4500 to the right buyer.

No doubt the fizzer was heavy by comparison. But it was quicker in the 1/4, substantially higher top speed and it stopped better. Oh, and a 17” front...

Right now. Keep it. The price of RC51s is going through the roof in Europe.

I bought it used in 2008 with 16k miles! I don't really plan on ever selling it. I put on less than 1k miles a year these days, but I still ride it.
I do daydream about an RC8R REALLY hard though.....

Meh...it won't be any time soon, that's for sure. I have a few years to work off the Harley payments! LOL!

Never much cared for the Versys, but this one looks fun:

Re: The Best bikes on Craigslist
There’s been a handful of Versys 650 Adventure builds on ADV rider.
Here’s another one I remember with DRZ forks and a 19” front:
