I think you're thinking of the military KLR. The MT500 was not diesel, which is why the US military never adopted it.
Also kinda funny that it looks like they never even bothered to change the bullpup rifle case out. Pretty useless for a US M16.

Now that I think about it more, you're right. The dude that owned it explained that to us. Thanks for the push!

You're thinking R6, that bike for sale is the previous gen 'thundercat' YZF600R, which carried on for way longer than I would have expected after the R6 came out. The motor dates back to the FZR400/600 era.

I always loved this bike though. I swear at one point Yamaha was carrying three 600cc crotch rockets, maybe 2002?
The FZR600 with the delicious dual round headlights, this banana seat YZF, and the R6. Bring back those days!
Re: The Best bikes on Craigslist
You also had 06 and 07 where you had the Thundercat (YZF600r), R6S (1st gen R6) and R6 (2nd gen R6) on the showroom floor at the same time. FZ6 from 04 to 09 so it was there as well.

I agree with you both. Display that shit proper and it'll get eaten right up. Not that it won't at that price. But for chrissake, put a little effort into the game.
Re: The Best bikes on Craigslist
The first pic shows like 4 mufflers on the ground. Which ones are for the Paso ? Just zero effort all around.
I believe those used a single Weber carb. Sure beats rebuilding four of em [emoji1787]

Seems cheap for one that's not all destroyed.

Upgrades:
Lady Bird full carbon exhaust ordered direct from Japan
LED Flush mount blinkers
Brighter head lights
LED Undertail"
But he's got "all the stock parts", so he's got that going!
