Looks like it was plastidipped which means you can never ride it or its going to overheat. Carb looks like a cheap Chinese carb set up anyway so it probably won't run right ever.

Pretty much, I think. The KZ1300 is usually compared to/competed with the Honda CBX. I remember when they came out. The later model, Z1300 is injected, I think. Good YTs if you want to take a look. Seems like a reasonable asking price, not too many of these around. Too bad about the small tank dent. I'd remove the various racks and the sissy bah ... then I'd have to hire a stable hand to move it around for me and point me out the driveway.

I used to talk to Millyard a lot. he lived near me so it was easy to swing by his shop. His bikes were a hit at Newlands Corner bike days. Sammy miller is another one to watch, more restoration but a nice guy.

I have one of Sammys restored bikes in my shed. He did a series on it. The New Imperial one. His museum is massive in the UK. Between his, Brooklands and Beaulieu National Motor Museum you could easily convince yourself its worth taking a vacation to go see them. They are all relatively close to each other too.

He still rides too. I think he is 90 ish. He putts around the museum on old trials bikes but still goes over rocks and shit.

Saw a older hotrod snowmobile some where online and the velocity stacks for the carbs where in the same location... I like that idea better than the subs.
