I have it's slightly less nutty nsr cousin sitting in my shed. I smile every time I ride it. It's a beast up until about 60mph, seriously fast for something so small.

I was looking at one on Cycle Trader a couple of years ago -- white and orange with factory hard bags at a reasonable price. I decided to pass, bit IIRC, someone else here did buy it.

Not sure about the price, but here’s what Loudbeard said in one of my threads a while back-

For the 690 Dukes see if you can locate a 2008-2011. That gen has Marchesini’s, Brembo brakes, and fully adjustable suspension. They’re also EFI where older models are carbureted. This is also the first gen with 6 speed an slipper clutch. It’s down a few horsepower on newer models but are kitted out better.

I sat on a newer one a while back, they are super light, like 350 wet, felt like a bicycle. This generation makes 60ish hp.

It goes without saying I’m not the sharpest crayon in the box..

.. but I hope that name is just an example of the plate he uses, and not someone’s ashes being sold.

“New fear unlocked” as the kids say, my ashes being sold on Facebook marketplace by a loved one.

But I know I don’t have to worry since I’m leaving mine to tsorfas .
