    For 1971, Triumph changed too much too soon, nearly everything on the 650, engine details, gearbox, frame, swingarm, forks, wheels, brakes, seat, tank, crummy paint ... total disaster. Considerable improvement in 1972, finally got it right in 1973 IMO.

    (1969-1970 are often considered the best looking, running, handling. If you want to get into it, check out the forum at britbike.com)

    The MSRP on these things is $1800 but some dealers were easily matching that in fees. I think this would be ideal for my GF who likes the z125 I got her...except for the whole clutch thing
    I prefer the z125/Grom over these.
