I saw you mentioned the T100/T120 in a different thread, are you thinking air or water cooled? Pretty sure 2016 was the first year for the water cooled engines.

Have you considered the Speed Twin? Or are you looking for more of a lazy bike? I think the Speed Twin is the only modern classic I’d consider switching to, although when I sat on one it felt very small to me.

I agree the speed twin feels a bit smaller.

The T120 has the “high torque” variant of the engine, the Scrambler, Speed Twin, and Thruxton have the “high power” variant, although each of those is tuned differently from each other with I think the Thruxton having the most HP and the Scrambler the least. HT and HP are the same basic engine with a few tweaks. I’ve never actually ridden a bike with the HT, but I think it actually has lower torque and HP than the HP version, if I remember correctly. Supposed to be a good, lazy engine.

My wife rode one of those at Americade in 2016 and has been wanting one ever since. I rode the DRZ400SM on that ride, so don’t have first hand experience, but she said it was one of the lightest-feeling, easiest to ride bikes she’s ever been on. Only thing that beats it for “lightness” is my mom’s old BMW F650CS, according to my wife.
