I wonder how it compares to cars per 1000 residents?

ha, I'm a little bit of an anomaly in my town...we're in the bottom 1/4 of density; so I don't think a whole lot of people in my town are really motorcycle owners

I wonder if this includes ORVs...if so I contribute 1% to my town's #'s and bring our rank up by 2

NH is highest motorcycle ownership per capita state in the country

states without adult helmet laws have 50% higher per capita ownership on average, than states that have helmet laws

Is that street bikes? Cause the numbers are really gonna change if you add in ORVs. Anyway, my little burg has a respectable 36.9/1000

the stastistic about NH being highest per capita in country, I thought was common knowledge, I have heard it in the new media several times, even being spouted by our governor in a speech

But, actual documentation of that statistic I haven't actually found, but in looking for it, I found the other statistic, don't ask me to go looking for the link

believe it or not, for a lot of riders, the helmet takes the fun right out of riding

Re: How many bikes in your town?

all it really seems to show is that it's inversely proportional to how urban the area is. once you go out to western ma, it goes up to like 40-60/1000, whereas immediately surrounding boston, it's in the low teens, with the suburbs going up from 15-22/1000 or so...

Calculated it out the other night, total cost to me of purchasing stands at $8750.

They all do what I want them to do, I don't have to worry about them getting stolen and every single one is paid for

they probably do, in total number, cause they are the the most populus state,

but not per capita, not even close.
