You have too much oil in it...and if the seal around the clutch pushrod isn't replaced, you'll piss it there too.

Too much oil in crankcase, and wheelies = leak out those seals...
Make sure they are brandy new, and everything is clean.

Check to see if it's coming from the airbox, you may have a pinched breather line too! or one that fell off....

Next question is did you buy the bike new, and how did you break it in?

The cylinder lining isn't a steel sleeve, and if you romped on it too early, you may have glazed or damaged the cylinder, and is now generating too much blow-by into the crankcase, pressurizing the case above normal.

    Lots of reasons....

Just clean it up really good, ride it, and look for traces...Gravity will always be working against you. where you think the leak is, may be above it.

The fix for the wheelie oil leak is to fill crankcase with oil, until it reaches the center of the sight glass.
Like Josh said, counter shaft seal, or could be the clutch push rod seal too...It gets a lot of crap built up there from the chain lube and crap in general.

As for mine, ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS..... After I did all the preventative fixes for it.

BTW, I sucked up the forks into the triple clamps about 13mm total, and that F__king thing sets into the corners like it's on RAILS!

You mean other than the leaking gas tanks? Nope, haven't heard of anything other than that. But the passenger seat is about the size of a panty liner, so two-up probably wouldn't be good...

I've ridden an RC51, and I can't say it had anything over the Tiller. I'm definitely happy I went with it, and would do it again if given the opportunity...

How about not doing any wheelies when you take it out for a test drive. Instead of a 4 mile ride make it a 2 mile ride. If oil is leaking out take all the plastic you can off the bike and take it for a naked ride and you might see what you couldn't before, like TLRman said "Gravity is working against you". If you are getting that much oil out of your bike from a 4 mile ride then you should be able to make it weep oil out froma stand still. Just keep trying different things untill you find the damn thing, one test will be sure to find what the other did not.

    5) it is hard to trace a leak when you have an area that starts just above the stator cover and goes all the way back to the rear left of the swing arm

If it starts just above the cover then it either has to be comming from the cover or above it I would say.

    My 2 cents

hey tiller, the falco is a competitor to those other twins too, realistically. and it snot as expensive as the mille. the New 2002 falco R's are 93% of a mille at 10,900. just a little more than a NEW TLR.
i am sure you could get a good deal on a used one.

but this is not very productive help or the info you are looking for, keep looking for htat leakage source dude.
