Looks like the best bike in the group! I'm hoping for good news on a possible sale of a blue 250 from a guy in TN which a friend knows. If it works out then the timing will be perfect as the BF and I are heading to the Dragon in a couple weeks and visiting his buddy where the bike is located. I have my fingers crossed as a blue Ninja is what I want, I'm in love and will be so sad if it doesn't work out! I'd love a red or black one too, but definitely partial to blue

thats awesome! I started out with a red ninja 250 before I bumped up to the 636, what year is the one you are looking at? Wish you luck!!

I'm looking at a 2009. Hoping it goes well as I definitely have my hopes up for it to work out. Looking into a 2009 red one too, but not sure it will be within my budget. Just have my heart set on a Ninja, have always loved the looks and love what I hear from others, so want to do it right for my first bike if I can. Figure I will outgrown the 250 and move up when I do, but I don't want to start on something I don't belong on and would rather "grow bored quickly" then screw it up with a bike too big for me.

Gotta go with the Kawi, heard great stuff about their products from reputable individuals and I know people who have them. Totally trust the Kawi reputation and the comments from those who have them. Going with the gut instinct on this one as well as going with what I want and have always wanted. All are allowed to have their own opinions and likes/dislikes.

haha Sav just likes to give me a hard time about it for sure. 2009 would be great, I had a 2008. I definitely was happy about starting on a 250, learned to be comfortable with the technical stuff while also being able to manage the weight of the bike. If you enjoy riding, you will outgrow the 250 quickly, but luckily the 250s hold their value well.
