Blue hue in rear tire edges?

So after the NJ track day I noticed that the edges of my rear tire have a slight blue hue to them. It was sort of a coincidence that while checking up on some track days I'm doing over the summer in the south I saw that one of the tracks mentioned not allowing tires with "blue coloration". I did a search online and I saw that the blue is from the oil in the rubber...

I still have tread left, but does the blue hue mean the tire is no good? Is there a way for me to get it off? Anyone have any experience with this- is it dangerous, etc.?

The tire is a pilot power 2ct, don't know how long it's been on the bike- maybe a couple years. The guy I bought the bike from a year ago barely rode it, and when he did he never leaned it over- so the edges hadn't really been abused till 2 weeks ago...

Nothing to worry about. I asked BM about the same thing on my Pirellis. I always get that blue hue on tires after a trackday. Never heard of anybody not allowing those on track tho. It's probably just oils commin out. And you get that off when you ride and scrub more rubber of the tire.

I think it is some of the oil in the tires coming to the top from the heat you put in em. Not that the oil makes em slippery or anything...

You just have to ride harder to get the blue off.

Didn't the 2CT's just come out last year?

thanks guys- that's what I assumed. I read somewhere online that the oil makes it slippery, but just wanted to check...
