Hello All,
Looking for riders in Rhode Island to carve up tight Twisty back roads with minimal traffic. There are some good routes in south county, Coventry, 102, scituate, western cranston, scenic farm roads in CT. All experience levels and all types of bikes welcome. If you enjoy clean roads in rural areas surrounded by woods, water and farm land. I'm always down for exploring new loops. I have a 2019 Husqvarna supermoto.

I’m from Scituate, and know many fun back roads and trails that are fun on a supermoto. I have an Aprilia mxv450, so I’m using for some riding
Yamaha
Cool! My bike is a "pavement princess" so I'd like to stick to pavement. I'd love to check out your roads.....I ride alot near the reservoir
I'm in Quincy. Always up for some riding on the tight stuff. Have a DRZ400SM that I'll be learning to ride this year, but I can rip pretty good on my S1000XR.
Four wheels move the body, two wheels move the soul.
Current: 690E. Past: FE250, S1000XR, S1000R, Streefighter S, Monster S2R1000, RC51

Welcome, nice bike
Counting you I think we only got about 6 RI memebers, and from what I can tell 2 of them are racers only.
hoping to get back into more riding this year, barely cracked 1k the past few years, but some changes. Working on a replacement for my 690SM, but they Hyper works fine for the tight back roads as well.
Looking at the long term weather looks like spring should be here sooner than later
Eastern CT has some great farm roads (with minimal cops), that's where I do most of my FUN riding. Hopefully we can get out for a some rides in a few months.
Are you familiar with the Ekonk turkey farm in moosup CT? I love riding around there. Scenic farm roads
Welcome, new guy. I’ve got a supermoto and a sport naked but I’m in CT.
Thanks....new to posting here but been riding for 30 years. I'm 5 minutes from the border of CT
I usually end up going past Ekonk then thru the arcadia area .... there s a boat launch on a nice stretch of road
few different loops in this area, lot of good roads in the little sliver of CT east of 395. Sounds like the new guy will want to avoid the rideable trails in Patchaug, never know when a mud puddle will show up
That's where I'm located, should have my Sumo replacement by next weekbe ready for the 1st ride
I am actually about to have a bunch of work done on my bike, KTM/husqy have finally issued a recall for the slave cylinder issue so I have to bring it to authorized dealer which is a pain in the ass. Im also do for 1st valve clearance check and I'm changing out sprockets; chain adding a fuel dongle and few other things....I'm hoping to be ready for April.....
Did you mean that there is only 6 riders total on this forum form RI???
Ktm 625 SMC Here...From RI originally but live on Cape Cod.
Always riding in RI though
pretty much, I don't keep track, but there are only about 5 who regularly post. I'm sure there may be a few others who don't post / don't have RI listed, but basically for RI riders there's: R7, BackinTheSaddle, jeantarrou, Philkinson, Mgiossi, me. i'm sure there may be a few more right on the CT or MA borders as well.
Majority of members are in MA & NH.

Some driveways in this area but I like Chester Main, Reuterman, Ryder, Wyassup, Hangman, Grindstone, off 49, North Stonington area. On the RI - around the reservoir area. Charlestown area - Kings Factory Road and some of the back roads and routes of Charlestown and Richmond (216, 112).

Wow.....I figured there would be more on here....this forum has been around forever...
I thought you meant there were 6 guys on here who rode supermotos...lol
i'm sure you've noticed majority of RI riders are Harleys, with a small contingent of stretched swingarm LED sportbikes that prowl the city.
Plus all the kids are on the instatwitter, so new young riders have no use for us old forum dwellers....

hopefully we can get 2-4 people together to hit the back roads a few times during the season. I normally do 80% of my fun riding alone, and I think I must ride at unpopular times cause I hardly see any other riders...
Like how I don't think I've ever passed you out on the road, which is crazy considering this list of roads above, which is basically my entrance into the CT loops....
Need to head out to Buttonwood Farm for some ice cream.
Same here.... I normally don't have the luxury with time to plan ahead for riding days.....it's usually a spontaneous decision when I come across enough free time to ride and I just go...... Like you said hopefully we can a couple rides and share some routes.
