Its yeller, kinda apart, needs a little bit of attention, but i got it for $300 and i think i can have it on the road with out spending a dime. I'm putting a rc30 race tail on it. and will ride it for a bit and let kid get her license on it.
The tail looks hideous but use your imagination.. Once its not sitting on top of the stock seat and trimmed and spaced to flow with the tank the boxy lines will go well together i think.
Any one ever had one?
Nope, never had one like that before. Good luck with the project and don't forget to post few pictures of it when you are done with your fz600 project.

That's the first FZ600 I ever saw with a Genesis motor. Looks like a FZ750.

That is what I was thinking. Wasn't the FZ600 an air cooled motor, carried over from the "FJ600", but kinda stuffed into an FZ400 steel frame? It's been quite a while. If that is a FZ750, that would be cool. I'd even think of a semi restoration, as budget would allow.
at least take my old number off the damtail

Couple of other notes - this bike has a radiator, and the FZ is air-cooled. Also, this bike has an 18" rear and 16" front from the looks of it, which is also FZ750.
The FZ600 is 16" front and rear.

FZR - no way. Frame is all wrong. That is a 750 motor.

Cool shit bro. I knew you couldn't have just one bike for long, but I didn't expect you to get another THAT quick. What'd you make it, 4 hours?
NEVER!
It would be cool if it is a 750... More details.
It is water cooled
16' front 18' rear
The rear shock has a chain driven damping adjustment![]()
Frame sticker says ILJO750
So would that mean 750?? If so is it worth more than the 600 would have been. and does that mean i should put the stock tail on it? I cant wait to get it on the road.
My first bike was a 87 FZ700 what a great all around motorcycle I still scan Craigslist for a decent one.
Bikeless
My vote is it's an FZ750 also!

It is definitely a 750, cool... Now what to do. I should have it started this afternoon. Then make sure the brakes and trans are good, then cosmetics.. Any pointers on this thing? whats with the holes in the side of the head?
I would stick with the original tail, that race tail looks way too big
Tuono
after seeing the race tail on the hawk forum, I like it. hated it mocked up, love it when he's got it cut. we'll see what he comes up with.
Saw one on CL for parts tonight, nowhere near as tidy as yours, guy was asking $500for it! This was the original 20 valve motor if I remember right.. they were very popular in England.
