I saw 'em on the Discovery Channel or Speedvision. If I remember correctly it was only capable of 35-40mph.

Can you say, "MAJOR BLINDSPOT"? And if you watch the movie at the bottom of the page, you'll see the guy using his feet to keep from pogoing up and down when he hits the brakes. Say goodbye to those expensive riding boots.

This page has a video of it. It looks ridiculous. There is no way to steer it. It's like a bike with the handlebars locked, so you can't countersteer. You see him leaning to try and get it to move a little but it doesn'd do a whole lot.

Looks like the di-wheel (Like a motorized wheelchair with no front wheels) works better than the mono-wheel.

Even more amazing is that he didn't put on a riding suit to test it out!
