Brake
Rotors...
Have a good day.
They look awesome Degs...
DHL was used to ship them...I'm astonished at how fast I got them.
You'll be fine. Any QC issues aren't going to result in instant death. They might not last and COULD warp more easily but you SHOULD be able to read the signs in advance if there's going to be a problem with them. People panic too much.
Good luck this weekend.

So, the verdict after a few races...
I put the rotors on with new pads....
The brakes are a gigantic improvement over stock..they worked AWESOME. Yes, I realize the new pads (EBC HH) had an effect, but the brakes were great!
Fit and finish is excellent....plus they look pretty killer too)
Happy with my decision to try these out.
Looks like they faded on you going into 9
How's the headache btw?

Lol...I'm sore as hell today...but I'm ok thanks. I'm starting to dislike that turn...
May even have to change the avatar picture...

Interesting,,, good price.. are they floating too? I might give these a whack before I spend $500 this winter on rotors. No signs of warping/blueing? How hard were you mashing those brakes?
Not floating. They look great after 2 races and a practice. I think I'm a very hard braker....
I want your calipers. That was the easiest damned wheel and pad change I've ever done.
I want your master too.
John - could you text me (or post up) a few pics of the braking surface of the rotors? Curious what they look like now that they have been abused a bit.
Think I'll be ordering some for my 600.
Do you have the name of the seller? Picture shows BoBmoto(?) in the link you posted.
Yes, bobmoto was the seller. Great transaction all around.

John, keep us posted after several races / months. I'm curious to see how they hold up. Always good to have cheaper options as long as its comparable quality/service life.
Even if it half the service life, you'd come out ahead...
I will keep an eye on performance. ..
UPDATE!
So as requested, here's an update with these rotors. This year, round 1 I did practice and 4 races. Round 2 practice and 6 races, round 3 was a wash, and I just did a full trackday this past monday....
The brakes are still working pretty well, they do have some blueing and I can feel a little click under very hard braking. Also I do get a bit of fading in pretty much anything over 6 laps...not a ton, but it's there. The rest of the brake system is factory Ducati. I had a friend take the 848 for abut half a session at this last trackday so he could tell me how the front end felt to him, he came back saying he felt the clicks under braking (he did know ahead of time about the rotors being Hong Kong, and has expressed his dislike way before riding it lol)
All in all, they were great in a pinch as the factory rotors were warped and I needed to replace them asap. Price was great. Performance was stellar when they were new.
VERDICT:
These would be prefect for a street only bike. I don't think I'd buy them again for my race only bike though.
Just gotta start saving up to buy the Galfers or Brembos when these degrade enough....
I put Chinese rotors on my zzr1200 last yr. They were made by Arashi, so far they have been great, took a bit to break them in but once they settled in they were a vast improvement over stock. well worth the $$$$
As a machinist I can tell you there is no such thing as steel is steel. Even 2 different lots of the "same" metal from the same manufacture can behave differently. When you start going cheap everything is up in the air. All the metallurgy that the big boys put into making sure that the metal binds with the pads with out glazing and that it hear cycles properly while retaining its original shape is doesn't end up warped is up to anyone's guess. I would personally just go with replacement stock rotors from Ron ayer or one of the other stock part discounters before I bought no namers from China.

Wow talk about late to the party. I'm glad they worked out for you. Looks like you hit the lotto on those!
#edit 2
Never mind just finished reading. At least they worked well for a while. Also I just got an email from I think motomummy where either ebc or galfer was on a big sale on everything including discs. I'll try to dig it up for you.

Update.....rotors are still awesome. Just put new pads and the 848 stops incredible. Ive got 2 rounds of racing in 2014, a full season in 2015 plus 3 or 4 track days and so far 2 rounds in 2016. Im impressed.
Who woulda thought?
Update:
They are Arashi rotors. I've got 15k miles on them now including a very aggressively ridden week in the Va. mountains. They blue up a bit each day in VA. but they work just as well as when I got them broken in. I'll measure them the next time I think of it.
