    - OSNAP, JOHN! YOU GOT TOLD!

    - Talk to enough people that know about motorcycle geometry & design and I think you'll find that YOUR reasoning is your's alone, because wide bars don't make a bike stable... wide bars only make a stable bike more maneuverable. Except in this case, the hyper isn't stable to begin with. If you don't believe me, go talk to a motorcycle suspension specialist or start a thread in the GMD Computrack Suspension forum.

This is reminding me of that "How not to crash" thread, except instead of a jacket, it is a damper.

Mines does. I tried just bolting a pair of wider bars on there, but it still wagged.

Dont get me wrong, mine wag like motherfuckers, but never enough I feel like I need a damper. Just a loose grip and let it track.

Well... three things if you gotta get a frisbee or cat out of a tree.
Yeah... not a good RACE bike.

But I disagree, mine is tons of fun on the track at up to a relaxed advanced track day pace, I've done probably 125 laps on it, comfy and has a mirror so I used it to help students at TD's, including some in advanced group and you can move pretty good on it without pushing it or getting wonky. Ask Davemon, we were probably doing 1:25's and 26's. The main drawback at that pace for me was the pegs scraping, which can be fixed with rearsets.

So I would say it's a great/fun trackday bike as well.

Unfortunately now I need to sell mine, thread forthcoming.

Mines came with it, probably the only reason it's on there. I make sarcasm.

The irony (or hypocracy?) here is, I'd consider buying it if I needed a street bike
