    Thumbs up Brockton Cycles Moved

I stopped over to Brockton Cycles, only to find that they moved pretty much next door to a gigantic location. Everything is on one floor with lots of room to move around. They have a large showroom floor up front for the machines and a huge showroom with clothing/parts etc... Very nice set up! Too bad it's an hour ride for me, with no good back roads that I know of to get there.....

They are having a sale right now on Helmets, riding gear and Dunslop tires (Street & Dirt) .

Well there's better ways to go than the highway to Brockton Cycles from Framingham. When I used to ride down there from Framingham, I would just take 27 all the way to Brockton... It ain't a great road, but its nicer than slab.

    Cheers,
    Chris

But when we ride very fast motorcycles, we ride with immaculate sanity. We might abuse a substance here and there, but only when it's right. The final measure of any rider's skill is the inverse ratio of his preferred Traveling Speed to the number of bad scars on his body. It is that simple: If you ride fast and crash, you are a bad rider. If you go slow and crash, you are a bad rider. And if you are a bad rider, you should not ride motorcycles.

If you sign up for their monthly newsletter they tell you about what's on sale that month!

I love it there, their prices are great IMHO (on gear anyway).

Great place. If you need parts deal with Jennie. Tell her FTrain sent you and she might hook you up with a dicount. You can also mess with her about almost getting arrested last year in laconia when she decided to take my XR-50 to wears beach.

Great price on the A-star boots, I think I'm going to head down this weekk or weekend to grab a pair.

    Train,
Doesn't Jenny work at south shore motorsports? I think Crazy Jerry works at brockton cycle in the parts department.

MotoEmporium? Are you talking about that place in Plaistow, NH that used to be Plaistow Powersports?

I haven't been there since they changed names and owners, but I wasn't very impressed when it was Plaistow Powersports...

there 10 ten min from me but the closest good yamaha dealer i know of is a two hr drive.

they do have some good prices on closeout items.

    other than that they SUCK!

nothing like bringing you new bike in for it's first service, just to get it back with a scratch and told oh well or buying your new bike while it's still in the crate only to pick it up the next day with a dent in the tank.

No no... I don't think we're talking about the same place. MotoEmporium is in Bradford, MA, not Plaistow NH...

    Different place...

Well why didn't you freakin say so? I never been there (guess they just moved) but that's like 10 minutes from where we were riding last weekend!

That's not a very big plaza tho, IIRC...I wonder how they squeezed that store in there, it looks pretty big.
