Prep for 3-day ride/camping?

It's settled, my friend and I are going riding/camping through NH/VT from Tuesday-Friday.

What will I need?

I guess it depends on whats on motorcycleroads.us....

VT - 100, 17 that's all you need to know...and if you take 100 to 17 - 17 will take you all the way to NY too

there are some excellent twisties in Essex county NY

Rt 7 from Moriah to Elizabethtown
Rt 6 from moriah to Underwood (as good as twisties can get)
Rt 4 from North Hudson to Moriah

Camp shmamp stay in Motels especially with weather channel.

For a break try Ausable Chasm near Plattsburgh

Talk to each other so you have tools,
Tire sealer, look up local bike dealers before you go,
fuses, electrical tape Sheild cleaner (windex), small flashlight, chain lube.

You should also have an extraction plan/freind if someone goes down. List of who to contact with what and make sure all papers are in order lic, reg, insurance.

Visa minimum but there is nothing like cash to make stuff happen at least 250 between you.

It's 3 days in new england / new york, not 3 months in the sahara. Unless your riding 1969 Triumphs, just put some panties in a tank bag and go.

Not less than $2500.... and be sure to post your minute-by-minute itinerary here before you go.... like where you'll be and when... where you're likely to hide the cash, etc.

Just got back and it was awesome.

We pretty much just saddled up, started heading north and west, and just called friends near a computer for local campgrounds when it got late.

It rained almost the whole time, but I learned a thing or two about the bike's capability in rain, and how you should pack to stay dry.

The roads in upstate NY were the best roads I've ever been on, and also some of the most scenic.

We also got word of a motorcycle rally in Lake George, NY and stopped by there.

I'll start another thread; pics to come.
