Rumor has it that not all of the Butler roads are included in the subscription. Makes no sense to me, but that's what I've heard.

I've been on Rever premium for the last year, because they've had the New England road ratings on there since well before the paper maps came out. There are a few small road sections near Boston on the paper map which aren't on Rever, but otherwise I've not noticed any difference.

Oh, such a beautiful tarmac. Look how smooth it is. See how smooth it is? And it's warm, and it's hard. - Charley Boorman, Long Way Round

    Thanks for clarifying that.

Got my map a few days ago....found some nice roads not too far from home, and some that would make a nice two day trip.

Thanks for the link to the map!

Re: Butler Maps - New England

I recently had the chance to use it and it worked for the purpose. Was in Maine, wanted some roads near-by. If I looked at Google maps, it would have been a guessing game where to go. But their map gave me some winners.

I've realized it might be nice to buy two copies. One to keep in full, and another to cut in to smaller pieces for trips that I know there's no chance I'll want info on the opposite side of the region. I want to say I saw something about a buy-one-get-one discount somewhere?

I've taken some close-up photos and stored them on my phone, just in case I'm out somewhere without the map and want to know if there's anything interesting nearby. Rever does that and more, though.
