Anyone buy a Ducati Streetfighter 848?

Curious to see what the thoughts are on the power. What bike did you have before? I just cant pry my eyes off the SF. Of course i would love the S model big motor but 18k hurts my brain.

Yeah, like when I decided randomly to 'take an 848 for a ride'..... and then signed paperwork shortly thereafter.

The 848's engine is SO MUCH MORE FUN than the 1098/1198, at least IMO and particularly for street riding. God I miss that motor.

For street riding 848 > 1X98. Sooooo much more fun to ride a slower bike fast than a fast bike slow. Buy it.

Teds 1098 came up on me in 3rd merging onto the highway. Pooped a little ....loved it.

I test rode one saturday. Only did about a dozen miles so can't speak much about it, just not quite my style. Read great reviews of it so maybe I went in to it expecting too much. Somebody else with tons more experience than me got one after test riding it.
